Worship Services

All of our usual worship services will be presented in-person in our traditional High Holy Days tent on the temple lawn and will be broadcast on-line via Zoom for those who wish to watch at home. Seating for all services will be limited to 500 seats in the tent. Selihot will be online only and Shabbat Shuva will be held in the Sanctuary and is limited to 60 attendees. Online reservations are required for all services except Tashlikh and access will be on a first come, first served basis. All in-person attendees who are eligible to be vaccinated must be vaccinated and masked to attend services. Seating limits, registration, and masks are necessary for us to manage the shifting Covid-19 situation and to keep everyone in our community safe. For the safety of our clergy and service leaders, adjustments have been made to some of our usual practices, including reducing the number of honors available to temple members and limiting the number of congregants joining clergy on the bimah.

Please note that there will be no babysitting available during services this year.

All Temple Members in Good Standing* are eligible to register for in-person seating in the tent and for online access to all services. Please click here to select how you will participate in each service. After registering, you will receive confirmation emails containing online proof of registration for in-person services that must be shown upon entering the tent. Those registering for online viewing will receive follow up emails before the holidays containing the Zoom link to watch services.

Please be considerate of your fellow congregants and only register for the number of seats that you know that you will use for each service. You may register for both seats in the tent and online access, but if you decide not to attend a service in person, please release your seat(s) through the registration system so that someone else may have access to those seats.

*To be considered as a member in good standing, the member household must have returned their completed Supporting Woodlands Together pledge form to the temple office. Those who have not returned a form will not be considered members and may join the waiting list for an opportunity to register for services once all members have done so. The suggested donation for non-members who wish to attend services either in-person or online is $500.

Nonmembers and guests are welcome to join us if space permits. As of the beginning of September, we anticipate that space will permit guests to join us.

  • Guests: Members may register guests who are family members at the same time they register themselves. Guests who are not family members are asked to register separately here so we know who is joining us to worship.

  • Nonmembers are welcome to join us for High Holy Days worship services both online and in person if space permits. As of early September, we anticipate that we will be able to accommodate these requests. Please use the links below, depending on when you plan to join us.

Rosh Hashanah & Yom Kippur Family Services are open to all ages and are free of charge although donations are always welcome. Click here to register for online and in-person access.

For all other High Holy Day services please use this form to join our waiting list for access to in-person services or to request a link to view services online, both of which are available for a suggested donation of $500.

Non-members who wish to register for only the Yizkor service online access may do so for a suggested donation of $36. We will maintain a waitlist of non-members who wish to attend this service in-person and will contact those waiting after all Woodlands members have had the opportunity to register for their seats. Click here to register for Yizkor only.
