Book Fair Shabbat
On Friday, December 13, Florence Reiss Kraut will join us for Shabbat and share a bit about her book Street Corner Dreams. She'll be signing copies in the Book Fair before and after services.
Then, join the People of the Book Club on Wednesday, Dec 18 at 2pm for an author talk and discussion of the book!
Copies are available at our Book Fair where procedes benefit the Harriet Levine Education Enrichment Fund.
Florence Reiss Kraut is a native New Yorker, raised and educated in New York City. She holds a BA in English and a master’s in social work. She worked for thirty years as a clinician, a family therapist, and CEO of a family service agency in Norwalk Ct. while writing stories and essays for publication. Then she retired to devote herself to writing and traveling widely. She has published personal essays for the New York Times and her fiction has appeared in journals such as The Evening Street Press, SNReview, The Westchester Review and others. She lives with her husband in Rye, New York. She has 3 children and nine grandchildren. How to Make a Life was her debut novel Street Corner Dreams is her second book.
