Wed, Dec 11 at 2:00 pm - The Testaments
by Margaret Atwood
Facilitated by Jeanne Bodin

This is Margaret Atwood's follow-up to The Handmaid's Tale, written 35 years after that seminal novel. In that time, we have seen many of those ideas become eerily real, including new laws restricting wormen's rights. In the sequel, several of the handmaids and their offspring have been helped to freedom by the "Underground Femaleroad," showing that Atwood is willing to entertain that goodness might win the day. Along the way, she challenges us to see our toxic world anew.
